In 627, there was a place where people were rich and the society was steady; in 1900, there was a place where foreigners were aggressive and the government was weak and useless; in 1970, there was a place where people were starved to death and everyone knew chairman Mao is a red sun; in 2013, there is a place where people are becoming wealthy, the economy is developing rapidly, and the country is steady. Ladies and gentlemen, that place is what we belong to, that place is where grew up, that place is China.
In 2013, china’s productive forces, overall national strength, its living standards and social security, and its international status and influence all improved significantly. Then, our new leader, chairman Xi brought us another surprise that is china dream. In the river of history, china suffered a lot, changed a lot, and learned a lot. In the past, we fell down from the top and now we are climbing back to achieve the rejuvenation of Chinese nation, that is china dream.
Ladies and gentlemen, the process to realize china dream is doomed to be a tough path to go, but we won’t give up, because we have already seen the hope of victory. We hosted the Olympic games in Beijing and world expel in Shanghai; we launched BeiDou navigation satellite system and owned the first aircraft carrier. We’ve made significant socialist, economic, political, cultural, social and ecological progress and written a new chapter in building socialism with Chinese characteristics.
